《新概念英语》的精华

　　A young man in Teheran bought a real bed for the first time in his life. He slept on the roof of his house because the weather was hot. Three nights later, the bed was swept off the roof during a storm. The man was not only unhurt but still on his mattress. As the bed was in pieces, he carried his mattress indoors and after he had put it on the floor he went back to sleep.

　　写作的基本要求是句式多样、语法丰富和词汇高级，前两个要求在这里体现得淋漓尽致。

　　我说的精华是很多人没有注意到的Compostion部分。

　　The man gathered the pieces next morning---he repaired the bed---he put the bed on the roof---he tied the bed down---he enjoyed many comfortable nights' sleep.

　　这里我要求学生尽可能多的用不同的句式和语法，去尝试把作文写得高级一些。现在提供一些不同的写法供大家参考：

　　1. Having gathered the pieces next morning, the man repaired the bed. After putting the bed on the roof and tied it down, the man enjoyed many comfortable nights' sleep. (简单句；非谓语动词)2. The man gathered the pieces next morning in order to repair the bed. Then, he put the bed on the roof and tied it down so that he enjoyed many comfortable nights' sleep.(复合句，非谓语动词)3.The man who gathered the pieces next morning, repaired the bed, put it on the roof and tied it down  enjoyed many comfortable nights' sleep.(复合句）学生进行这样有意识的练习，最后写出的作文明显要高于普通学生。这就是我的很多学生高考成绩在120分以上的秘诀之一。
